FAQ Admissions

  • My child does not speak one or both of the school languages (Italian and English). Can I still enroll them?

Yes, it is possible to enroll a student even if they do not speak one or both of the school languages. At SIS Swiss International School, children learn both Italian and English through the immersive method, even if neither is their mother tongue.

To facilitate this, our schools offer Italian and English courses either outside of regular school hours or as intensive courses during school hours, depending on the academic level. The cost of additional language lessons is included in the school fees.

  • What is the minimum age for enrolling my daughter or son?

Children can be enrolled starting from the age of six.

  • Will the educational offering eventually include Early Childhood and Secondary School levels?

The Primary School in Milan-Basiglio is the first SIS Swiss International School in Italy, and we are focusing on this level of education. However, we plan to expand our educational offerings in Italy to include Early Childhood and Secondary School levels.
